The Birth of Khalsa Panth
When Guru Gobind Singh Ji raised his sword and demanded five heads for righteousness, five brave souls from different castes, trades, and regions of India stepped forward without hesitation. The Guru prepared Khande-Di-Pahul (Amrit) with sweetened water stirred with a double-edged sword, administered it to them, and then begged them to initiate Him into the Khalsa!
